Congratulations to the Scholarship Recipients of the Institute of Eastern Studies Foundation!

A ceremonial presentation of certificates was held at Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University for students who are scholarship recipients of the Institute of Eastern Studies Foundation.

This year, 15 students of the University received the Foundation’s scholarship programme, having demonstrated high academic achievement, an active civic stance, and a significant contribution to the development of the student community. Each scholarship amounts to 1,000 US dollars.

The scholarship recipients were congratulated by Valentyna Yakubiv, Rector of Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University. In her address, she emphasized that supporting talented youth is one of the University’s priorities, and that students’ participation in international scholarship programmes opens up new opportunities for professional growth, scholarly development, and intercultural communication.

Valentyna Yakubiv noted the high level of preparation and active civic engagement of the scholarship recipients, stressing that their achievements are the result of diligent work, a responsible attitude toward their studies, and a drive for self-improvement.

During the ceremony, it was noted that the scholarship programme provides important support for talented youth and encourages students toward further professional and personal development.

We sincerely thank Zygmunt Berdychowski, founder of the Institute of Eastern Studies Foundation, for many years of cooperation, support for student youth, and the creation of additional opportunities for the development, self-realization, and international academic mobility of our University’s students.

In addition to financial support, the winners of the scholarship programme have the opportunity to take part in international forums, conferences, educational projects, and other events organized by the Foundation. This helps broaden young people’s professional horizons, build international contacts, and strengthen Ukrainian-Polish partnership.

We remind you that students of Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University are able to take part in the scholarship programme thanks to a bilateral cooperation agreement between the Institute of Eastern Studies Foundation and the University, signed on 12 June 2018.
