This time, faculty researchers Iryna Serniak, Associate Professor of the Department of International Economic Relations, Olena Berezovska-Chmil, Associate Professor of the Department of Political Science, Tetiana Dereshchuk, Associate Professor of the Department of International Relations, and Yuliia Bohachyk-Didovych, Assistant of the Department of International Relations, organized an interactive “intergalactic journey” for participants, during which young people learned to work as a team, communicate under time constraints, seek shared solutions, and explore the role of leadership in achieving results.
“We wanted to show that learning can be dynamic, emotional, and meaningful at the same time. One of the participants said at the end, ‘I only realized it was a learning exercise at the very end — it was all so fun and engaging. If you do this kind of thing with students in class, that’s really cool!’ And for us, that was the best feedback we could get,” shared Iryna Serniak, who is responsible for the Faculty’s career guidance work.
First-year students of the Department of International Relations, Denys Ptashnyk and Diana Andrusiak, were also actively involved in organizing the event, helping participants complete team missions and creating the atmosphere of a genuine space quest.
It is through such interactive formats that the Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations demonstrates its approach to learning — modern, practical, and focused on developing communication, critical thinking, and the ability to work as a team.
