Faculty members of Carpathian National University named after Vasyl Stefanyk took part in the 22nd Annual International Academic Conference “International Order in Transition: Implications for Central and Eastern Europe,” held in Warsaw. The academic forum was organised by the Centre for East European Studies of the University of Warsaw.
The university was represented by Nataliia Sabat, PhD in Pedagogical Sciences and Associate Professor at the Department of Social Pedagogy and Social Work of the Faculty of Education; Yana Kotnevych, assistant at the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies of the Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations; and Yuliia Bohachyk-Didovych, assistant and senior laboratory assistant at the Department of International Relations of the same faculty.
Over the course of three days, conference participants discussed current challenges in international security, politics and social development. The programme featured presentations by leading world experts, scholars, diplomats and analysts on topics including the prospects for ending the Russian-Ukrainian war and its long-term consequences, strengthening security on NATO’s eastern flank, countering disinformation and hybrid threats, and preserving cultural heritage and social resilience in wartime.
The university’s representatives took part in panel discussions, engaged in professional exchanges with international colleagues, shared experience, and discussed prospects for further academic and research cooperation.
Participation in international conferences of this calibre is an important part of the development of the international activities of Carpathian National University named after Vasyl Stefanyk, helping to strengthen professional contacts, expand research partnerships, and integrate the university community into the European research space.
